The Omega Concern™ retains records of customer purchases and can provide replacements to the original purchaser on record in the event of inventory issues, accidental deletion or other circumstance. We do recommend keeping the original box in which products are delivered, so that you may simply open and re-copy the contents to inventory, saving yourself much time and grief. Most items purchased in Second Life® since 2010 July can be re-delivered to you via the service kiosk located in our main store in Second Life.
Sales are considered to be between The Omega Concern and the avatar to whom the product was originally delivered. Unfortunately we cannot transfer purchases to another avatar due to the impossibility of verifying that these two avatars belong to and will remain under the control of the same person, and the inevitability of abuse by unscrupulous individuals in the absence of such a policy. |

While we've been resistant to the idea for a long time, we have been swayed by people close to The Omega Concern who work for companies that are truly masters in the dark arts of marketing to consumers. Second Life® is a difficult place to effectively reach out and inform the market about what you have to offer (aka advertising), for a variety of reasons. Thus, we have embarked on a more direct marketing approach. We have records of purchasers, from which we can do some database magic and create lists of persons who A) have purchased something from The Omega Concern in the past and B) appear likely to be interested in something that we've produced since the time of that purchase, and contact them via note card delivery. We find advertising that is less than optimally focused to be discourteous and unsophisticated at best, which is why we don’t care to blanket every customer who’s ever bought anything.
We will not be sending these promotional materials often, and only when we are either having a sale (Which since 2007 has been an annual event) or upon release of a new product, and only then to people who have purchased something in the past that may hint at their interest in the new release. We would like to restrict these send-outs to once every six weeks at their most frequent.
We are also aware of the fact that some persons are very sensitive about being contacted for marketing purposes whatsoever. If you have received something from The Omega Concern and do not wish to receive any further materials in the future, please send an email to
